The Ramblings of Tachimaru and Fitch
Yush.

Okay, so does anyone here play Pandemic 2? it’s this game where you make a killer virus to infect the entire globe, etc.etc. anyway, gamers who are really into it have noticed a glitch known as the “Madagascar paradox”. the problem is, to get the virus to spread to other regions, you have to have things like shipyards and airports. madagascar only has one shipyard, and that will almost always close as soon as your virus starts spreading too much. in essence, most gamers conclude that the only way to infect madagascar is for the infection to begin in madagascar, but if that happens, the disease is contained on that one island and never spreads. but i - i have defeated the madagascar paradox! I INFECTED MADAGASCAR, BETCH1!!!

this is such a geeky victory, i don’t even have words for it.

‘course, there’s barely anything on it right now… but i’m working on it! ^^

what is it with me and posting these random videos? oh well, here it is. some beatles impersonators describing their random video. ^^

the song “total eclipse of the heart” - rewritten to explain/describe the whacked-up video! ^^ effin’ hilarious.

hehe, just had to reblog this - so effin adorable~~~!!! >w<

Thanks for the follow! ^_~

as my overly nosy email has informed me, i haz a new follower - thanks, take5donnie! you have influenced my ego that much more, and are now to blame for my constant posting of random crap. (jk, jk - that’s standard procedure. ^^)

well anyuway, so this hot dude at my culinary school made these really yummy candies that are basically like big ol’ watermelon-flavored sugar crystals covered in powdered sugar so’s they don’t stick to you. SO. GOOD. one of the bigger pieces lasted me an hour and a half! nomnomnom… ED (pioneering in emoticons: ED is the sideways equivalent of ^_^. at least in this blog, it is.)

i am so excited~~! gonna go see that movie Let Me In this saturday! my sister hates this stuff, so that makes it my job to bug her about it the whole evening. (“Hey, remember that one part where she jumped that guy and—” “JUST SHUT UP!! i don’t wanna hear about it!”) okay, i’m like that a lot, too. but i will make an exception for a vampire movie that isn’t twilight and is suitably awesome. speaking of which: anyone here seen or read Vampire Hunter D? :[ (vampire ^^)

i have typed too much already. i’m signin offa this rant! with a quick note that Edaniel pwns all. (wow. this entry was boring. just ignore this whole post. print it off and use it as a firestarter. please.)

So. Cute.

You are the bread and the knife,
the crystal goblet and the wine.
You are the dew on the morning grass
and the burning wheel of the sun.
You are the white apron of the baker,
and the marsh birds suddenly in flight.

However, you are not the wind in the orchard,
the plums on the counter,
or the house of cards.
And you are certainly not the pine-scented air.
There is just no way that you are the pine-scented air.

It is possible that you are the fish under the bridge,
maybe even the pigeon on the general’s head,
but you are not even close
to being the field of cornflowers at dusk.

And a quick look in the mirror will show
that you are neither the boots in the corner
nor the boat asleep in its boathouse.

It might interest you to know,
speaking of the plentiful imagery of the world,
that I am the sound of rain on the roof.

I also happen to be the shooting star,
the evening paper blowing down an alley
and the basket of chestnuts on the kitchen table.

I am also the moon in the trees
and the blind woman’s tea cup.
But don’t worry, I’m not the bread and the knife.
You are still the bread and the knife.
You will always be the bread and the knife,
not to mention the crystal goblet and—somehow—the wine.

Anime convention??

Hopefully, yes - Kurokiiro Festival starts on november 5 this year! although i find the fact that it’s being held in a convention center in Fox Chapel a bit off… ah well, no matter. I’m probly going anyway! But I’ll have to find out if someone i know is staying for the weekend so i can mooch off their hotel room. >w< I reeeally wanna cosplay as Chi from the Chobits series, but I am so amateur at sewing it isn’t even funny - if anyone finds a cute dress from the manga that doesn’t look too hard to make or replicate, pleeease let me know! I will love you forever in the least-lesbian way possible!

(…did i just say that?… wow. i’m bored today, i guess…)

In other news, culinary classes will begin for real next week! Hopefully. There are a surprising amount of rules that we have to go over before we can even go into the kitchen. Y’know, stuff like truancy, dress code, tobacco and drug policies, field trips, yaddayaddayadda. What I don’t get is why people would skip a school that they don’t even have to go to? If you’re gonna skip classes for three weeks, then why would you even sign up for the place? This place isn’t mandatory, after all!

Well, anyway, in addition to what’s going on at Beattie, art classes are getting underway - I’ll post some pictures of my next two assignments just as soon as i actually finish them! But for now, as I have no plans but to convert oxygen into carbon dioxide, I shall attempt to watch some anime online, and maybe upload the video of a 3-year-old reciting Billy Collins’s “Litany”. Sainara! ^_~

Owait. I know you, amirite? xD Lool! Hullo? :D
